Inserting Curly Hair Extensions

When your used to wearing your hair straight day in day out, you want to look different when it comes to a special occasion. Whether it's for your birthday, wedding or ball for example you want to look like a celebrity for the night.

A great way to do this is having big glamorous curly hair.

However, you know how long it can take to curl your hair, especially if you have thick long hair. Not to mention the amount of product it requires to maintain that look throughout the night. It takes just as long if you have thin hair, since you have to take time to add volume to ensure the curls aren't lifeless.

Sometimes you start off with good intentions but half way round your head you just can't be bothered any longer and resort to straightening once again.

Many people opt to go to the hairdressers to pass the curling task on but this can be expensive and you may not get the desired results. This is when curly hair extensions are beneficial. Not only are they time saving they also save money on hair styling products.

You can purchase separate layers of hair usually with six clips on each layer to obtain the desired look and volume. Other people prefer to buy a one piece whole head system to save adding different layers.

Both methods are easy and fast to clip on.

The best method of adding curly hair extensions is to gather your hair from temple to temple and behind the crown and clip up or tie up the hair in a bobble. Then back comb a little at the roots to give the clip something to attach to. Now just simply place the hair against the scalp and press clips to close. The small segment of your own hair that is on show can be curled or just left how it is. It really is that simple and in an instant you have gorgeous curly hair.
